Have you given any thought as to what is it that you have placed your hope? What is it that has your confident trust with the expectation of fulfillment this Christmas?
Is your Christmas hope for a lot of gifts, just to be able to spend time with family, healing in your body, mending of a broken friendship or failed marriage, money to pay the bills that you created trying to bring some joy or maybe you are hoping for a cure for covid? All of that is great but if that is all you hope for….your expectations are too low.
JOY TO THE WORLD…..THE LORD IS COME…..EMMANUEl….GOD IS WITH US
Stop looking at the circumstances. Circumstances have a peculiar way of distorting your view of God… stop looking at them! Difficult events do not define you. . One of the greatest temptations when times are hard is to believe that God is not good or that He is not able.
Stop believing that life stops where pain starts. Pain has a place in His purpose and plan for your life. He uses it to mold us into who He created us to be. If we run from pain, we run from growth.
Know that God is good….He is always good. We may not know and understand His purposes, but we do know His heart.
Place your hope in God…THE LORD IS COME..EMMANUEL….GOD IS WITH US
