Posted by Bible Fun on December 21, 2009

This entry is part 1 of 5 in the series Anxiety Worry and Fear Factor
Fear, anxiety and worry

Mr. Bill knows about anxiety, fear and worry

If you have NEVER EXPERIENCED  anxiety, worry and fear then you must be reading this from another planet.  In our human state we will, at some point, experience worry, anxiety and fear.

All three states start in our mind. Then it affects our emotions and bodies. As a result we can find ourselves going from self-medicating to self mutilating. That’s no fun!

This series will explore nuggets in scripture that relate to anxiety, worry and fear. The solutions are are there. It does not mean that ,depending on what state you are currently in, that you may not need additional support. But it does mean that the Word of God is an invaluable part of  your therapy.

To start the series we want to share a devotional we read today in The Faith Log. It is about an often overlooked scripture in the book of Job on FEAR.

Read and think about this blog post based on Job 3:25. Are you like Job these days?

Turn a Worry List Can Turn Into a Prayer List

Posted by Bible Fun on July 1, 2010

This entry is part 5 of 5 in the series Anxiety Worry and Fear Factor

Today I read a powerful devotional on worry. Now, I know about worry. I went to bed last night with a few worries. Often, I may say “in all things give thanks”. Yet last night instead of writing down my worry I left it on my brain.

The devotional today suggested WRITING DOWN THE  STUFF WE ARE FRETTING OVER AND PRAY.

So I want to share that with you today also. I am going to do it as soon as I  finish this post. See the devotional I read today below. No need to compare lists but we can keep praying for each other

A Worry List.
