What Do We Do With Our Aged?

Luke 2:21-38

The aged are viewed in different ways by diferent cultures. This bible study was discussed on one our Tuesday night sessions.

Unlike today, the elders in Jewish culture were respected, Simeon and Anna were both old so their blessings carried extra weight. Our society values youthfulness over wisdom.

We Remember The Tuesday Night Bible Studies Series

Several years ago we had bible study at our home on Tuesday night. We were influenced by Hillard and Rhonda Davis, of Calvary Gospel Church, Newark, NJ. We attended bible studies at their home when we were newly weds and young in the Lord. We prayed together, explored the word together and had lots of fun.

So, in this series of posts we will share some of the bible studies we documented. Some of the studies will be in PDF format. But feel free to copy and share with others.  The studies may be old but the word of God is always new.
