This entry is part 1 of 1 in the series Psalms 131
  • Psalms 131 Insights From Sunday School Class

As discussed in Sunday School Class today, one of the powerful things David is saying in Psalms 131 is probably one of the most important thing we can do for God. That is to completely surrender everything to HIM with the heart of a child.

Today we looked at different translations of Psalms 131

Psalm 131
A song of ascents. Of David.
1 My heart is not proud, O LORD,
my eyes are not haughty;
I do not concern myself with great matters
or things too wonderful for me.

2 But I have stilled and quieted my soul;
like a weaned child with its mother,
like a weaned child is my soul within me.

3 O Israel, put your hope in the LORD
both now and forevermore.
